KULU

The cast bronze sculpture of the Giacometti brothers was one of the inspirations for the Kulu range. The legs are sculpted by hand, creating a textured surface that is captured by the casting process. The metal under-frame is made from wrought iron, they can be finished in oxidized black or different gilded finishes. The oak tops are made from straight edged boards of solid oak. They are hand scraped and sanded rather than planed so that the tops have an undulating surface. A rounded profile is applied to the edge to reveal the beauty of the metalwork.
